The Safe Tomorrow Seminar II was hosted by University of Kyrenia on May 9th -10th, 2024.
The Aviation and Safety Seminar 2024, planned by the Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences, has covered several key topics related to aviation safety, innovation, and best practices.
The Seminar gathered experts form airline companies, aerospace companies as well as distinguished academicians from different universities each with unique experiences in safety management. As focused on harnessing innovation and collaboration to enhance global aviation safety, the participants discussed issues including safety management, training, maintenance, contemporary safety risks and new tendencies.
Consequently, participants to the seminar had the opportunity to discuss real-world events experienced in the industry, new approaches and management concepts emerging in the academic world to enhance safety during all flight and aviation operations.
This seminar is considered to be a valuable platform where aviation professionals can mutually share knowledge, produce information on the latest safety innovations, and enable collaboration on strategies to further reduce risks in aviation. Therefore, next year the Seminar is expected to evolve towards an international Symposium where wider safety discussions with vast number of participation could benefit excellently.
