Prof. Dr. İlkay Salihoğlu Appointed as Referee for Turkish Academy of Sciences Young Scientist Award Program

Prof. Dr. İlkay SALİHOĞLUUniversity of Kyrenia Rector Prof. Dr. Ilkay Salihoğlu, appointed as Natural Sciences Referee by the Turkey Council of the Academy of Sciences Young Scientist Award Program (TÜBA-GEBİP) Field Evaluation Committee.

According to the statement made by University of Kyrenia Press and Public Relations Directorate, TÜBA Young Scientist Award Program (TÜBA-GEBIP) was created in February 2001 by Turkey Academy of Sciences in order to support young scientists in their research and the development of their own research groups and to encourage them to pursue outstanding research.

TÜBA-GEBİP Awards is open to application by the scientists younger than 39, studying in all disciplines, who have received degree of specialty in health sciences and doctoral degree in other fields, working in Turkey or decided to work in Turkey.

Prof. Dr. İlkay Salihoğlu stated that he was pleased to be selected as a referee by the TÜBA Field Evaluation Committee and to contribute to the program that aims to support successful young scientists and lead them to achieve higher levels of success.

Salihoğlu added that the candidates will be evaluated in a scientific merit assessment processes.
