English Proficiency Test

Proficiency Test:

  • The Proficiency Test is made up of questions that test listening, reading, grammar, vocabulary, writing and speaking skills.
  • The Department of Pilotage students have to take an additional test, the Aviation English Proficiency Test.
  • The Written Exam is at 9.30 and the Oral Exam is at 14.00 on 2nd October 2020, Friday.
  • Those who attain the required grade are admitted to the departments for which they have enrolled.
  • Those who do not achieve the required grade need to take the Placement Test and are placed in the Foundation English Programme according to their level.
  • The students who failed to complete the Foundation English Programme in the 2019-2020 Academic Year may take the Proficiency Test on 2nd October 2020, Friday.

Placement Test:

  • The Placement Test is made up of 100 questions that test grammar, vocabulary and reading skills.
  • The Placement Test is at 09.30 on 5th October 2020, Monday.
