Development Goals Summit Held

On March 6, 2024, the Summit on Sustainable Development Goals in Society was held in cooperation with University of Kyrenia, Near East University, Social Research and Development Center and Al Farabi Kazakhstan National University.

Prof. Dr. Gökmen Dağlı, Vice Rector of University of Kyrenia, made a speech on sustainable development goals and shared application examples on these goals with the participants. Prof. Dr. Zehra Altınay and Prof. Dr. Fahriye Altınay shared information on the elimination of inequalities and quality studies in higher education.

Prof. Dr. Gainiya Tazhina presented the practices in Kazakhstan and around the world within the framework of sustainable development goals. At the same time, Prof. Dr. Ramesh Sharma shared the practices in India.

During the summit, questions were posed for the participants to share their views and provide suggestions for the way forward.

It was agreed that artificial intelligence applications should be integrated into next year’s Sustainable Development Goals Summit.
