The University of Kyrenia introduced its new flight training plane, Cessna 172S, to pilot candidate students and to the members of the press.
According to the press info release from the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of University of Kyrenia, Head of Yavrukuş Aviation, Serdar Turganer introduced one of the world’s best training plane, Cessna 172S, to pilot candidate students and to the members of the press.
At the promotion, Serdar Turganer started by stating that they had gathered to introduce the latest model of Cessna, Cessna 172 Skyhawk to the press and to pilot candidate students of University of Kyrenia.
Furthermore, Turganer expressed that they had signed a cooperation protocol with the University of Kyrenia, and added that as a result of this cooperation, the students of Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences of University of Kyrenia would be receiving training at the Yavrukuş Flight Training School. He reemphasised the reason for the promotion of Cessna 172S as an opportunity for pilot candidates to catch a glimpse of aviation.
Candidate pilots are excited!
Moreover, Serdar Turganer stressed that the current flight training fleet would be further extended by the inclusion of more planes and that he was very glad to see that the pilot candidate students looked enthusiastic and excited.
Hasan Evgen, from the Department of Pilotage of University of Kyrenia, spoke on the matter and stated that they were rather excited to see the plane that they will be receiving flight training on, and further added that they were grateful to the University for facilitating such significant opportunities to its students.
Freshman Sevgi Çetin from the Department of Pilotage of University of Kyrenia also spoke and said: “I have come from Izmir. I am very excited to be undertaking my education on aviation as this was my childhood dream. We have just seen the plane that we are going to be receiving our flight training on next year. Maybe, my first experience on my flight training will be on the plane that we have just seen.”
