The University of Kyrenia, with over a thousand students coming from 37 countries, commenced the first lessons on its new campus which was opened on 15th November 2015.

According to a press statement released by Press and Public Relations Directorate of Universit of Kyrenia, the new buildings of maritime and aviation faculties that were equipped with the latest technologies are now in service of students and lecturers on the new campus of University of Kyrenia which was opened on 15 November 2015 with participation of Prime Minister Ömer Kalyoncu, 3rd President Dr. Derviş Eroğlu, Minister of Education Kemal Dürüst, other ministers, Chairman of Girne Municipality, members of Parliament, guests and citizens.
