University of Kyrenia will increase scientific research studies in 2014-2015 academic year.

According to Press and Public Relations Directorate of University of Kyrenia, the University of Kyrenia, which contributed to EU studies from Eastern Mediterranean region as well as carrying out research studies on wind potentials of TRNC and sharing the results publicly, will increase the fields of scientific studies in the following academic year.

In the press release it is stated that TEAL, the first and only research and training ship of TRNC, will analyze the shores of entire TRNC with its renewed devices in the following academic year. The research team of University of Kyrenia will go through Guzelyurt Bay, the shores between Cape Kormakitis and Riso Karpasso, and Riso Karpasso and Famagusta Bay, and carry out analysis of water samples obtained from various depths.
