According to press info released by Press and Public Relations Directorate of University of Kyrenia, the University of Kyrenia started to accept lateral transfer applications to all its departments on maritime studies. Students carrying out their studies on maritime studies at other institutions have the right to apply for lateral transfer to relevant departments at faculties and vocational schools of University of Kyrenia.

Prof. Dr. İlkay Salihoğlu, Rector of University of Kyrenia, stated that the University of Kyrenia, which is regarded as a prominent higher education institution as it offers highly qualified training for maritime sector which is one of the leading sectors of our present day, will accept students through lateral transfers and the university offers very enticing opportunities, and students who make application for lateral transfer will have the same academic and economic rights that they have at their previous institutions.

Prof. Dr. İlkay Salihoğlu also emphasized that students applying for lateral transfer to the University of Kyrenia will benefit from special scholarship offers and invited all students considering lateral transfer to obtain information regarding social and academic life at the University of Kyrenia.
