It was revealed that the University of Kyrenia Student Placement and Scholarship exam for the Academic Year 2016-2017 will be held on 5th June, 2016 on University of Kyrenia campus at 9:00.

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of University of Kyrenia, graduates from Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) high schools, who are TRNC citizens, were eligible to sit the exam. It was pointed out that these graduates had the opportunity to choose to study in all the undergraduate and associate degree programs offered by the University of Kyrenia. Those who are considering to take the exam are advised to make their registries to the exam by the latest 4th June, 2016 at the Registrar’s Offie at the University of Kyrenia, and/or at registry desks which will be available at high schools.

Requirements for the selection and placement to the university programs:

Students to sit the exam have the opportunity to choose to study in three departments of the University of Kyrenia. In accordance with the points achieved at the placement examination, the students will be placed in one of the three selected departments to study.

Those graduating form high schools with English as the language of instruction (colleges) are announced to have the opportunity to use their GCE A’Level, GCE AS Level, IGCSE-GCSE O’Level, SAT, ACT certificates to apply to University of Kyrenia departments and register in accordance with the quotas previously decided by the university.

Application Requirements:

Students who are considering and are eligible to register to the University of Kyrenia student placement and scholarship exam are required to make their registries to the Registrar’s Office by submitting a photocopy of their TRNC identification cards; a passport

photograph; 50TL exam fee, and/or they are advised to make their registries at the desks which will be available at certain high schools.
