University of Kyrenia is expanding the general content of its postgraduate programs.

University of Kyrenia, obtaining the necessary official accreditation for Department of Marine Transportation and Business Engineering under Institute of Graduate School of Applied Sciences, now started official work to expand the coverage area of postgraduate programs.

In addition to existing programs, necessary official proceedings has been started to open postgraduate programs of Department of Ground, Marine and Atmosphere Sciences. The departments associated with this department are planned to be Marine Jeology and Geophysics, Marine Biology and Ecology, Fishery and Fishery Technologies, Physical Oceanography, and Chemical Oceanography.

The students to be accepted to this program must obtain an undergraduate degree from any of the following subjects; Marine Sciences, Fishery Technologies, Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Mathematics), Ground Sciences (Geology, Geophysics), Environmental Sciences and any of the engineering departments. Application and acceptance proceedings to the program are to be carried out in accordance with the Postgraduate Teaching-Learning Regulations of University of Kyrenia.

The language of instruction of these programs is English and the number of students to be accepted to the programs is 20 for the first year.
