University of Kyrenia commences undergraduate and postgraduate programs

The Press and Public Relations Department of University of Kyrenia has revealed that Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination Council (YÖDAK) decided at its meeting held on 26 July 2013 to permit the Maritime Transportation and Marine Engineering Department of Graduate School of Applied Sciences to commence MA studies with dissertation, and officially informed the Rectorate of University of Kyrenia about its decision.
Prof. Dr. İlkay Salihoğlu, the Chairman of Board of Trustees of University of Kyrenia informed the public regarding this issue.

Prof. Dr. Salihoğlu said, “Our university has completed all its preparation to offer the best possible and highest quality of education to its students starting from 2013-2014 academic year. The University of Kyrenia, with its preeminent teaching staff and advanced technical equipment, will start to MA studies in maritime field in the coming academic year. We are always proud of that our country is a land of universities. Our university was accredited by YÖDAK to start higher education studies”.

The registration of students to programs of University of Kyrenia will commence on 29 July, Monday, at the Registrar’s Office of Near East University, the sister university of University of Kyrenia.
