University of Kyrenia Accepted as EUCEN Member

University of Kyrenia’s application for membership to EUCEN has been accepted. Founded in 1991, EUCEN is the largest multidisciplinary University Lifelong Learning association in Europe. EUCEN is the largest multidisciplinary university lifelong learning (ULLL) and university continuing education association in Europe with over 32 years of experience and extensive expertise in this field. EUCEN collaborates with around 800 institutions in Europe and around 300 in the US, and works in conjunction with more than 3,000 other institutions and organizations.

EUCEN’s main objectives are:

  • To create a member-centered community that enables the exchange of ideas, experiences, knowledge and best practices on ULLL among network members.
  • Expanding the provision of high quality, flexible and inclusive learning opportunities in universities across Europe for the benefit of adult learners from all backgrounds.
  • Contribute to the field of ULLL through the development and dissemination of cutting-edge research and practices.
  • Influencing the development of ULLL policy at institutional, national and European level.
  • Advocate and promote a European model of lifelong learning based on democracy, equal rights and social justice.
