Times Higher Education announced: Near East University is among the top 175 universities in the world in the field of “Computer Sciences” and among the top 200 universities in the world in the field of “Engineering”!

Near East University ranked first among the Turkish and TRNC universities in the “World Universities Ranking 2023” field rankings published by Times Higher Education, and among the top 175 universities in the world in “Computer Sciences” and the top 200 universities in the world in “Engineering”. According to the ranking systems, Near East University ranked second in Turkey and first in the TRNC in the field of “Engineering”. Near East University is also among the top 500 in the world in the field of “Education”. As for the health education, it is ranked in the 501-600 band in the “Clinical and Health” field, and in the 601-800 band in the “Life Sciences” and “Social Sciences” fields.

In the “2023 World University Rankings” prepared by the London-based international higher education rating agency Times Higher Education (THE), Near East University was among the top 175 universities in the world in the field of “Computer Sciences” and among the top 200 universities in the field of Engineering in the world. Near East University, which was shown in the 151-175 band in “Computer Sciences”, where it was ranked first among Turkish and TRNC universities, found its place in the 176-200 band in the “Engineering” field and succeeded in making its name among the top 200 universities in the world in these fields. Near East University ranked second in Turkey and first in the TRNC in the field of “Engineering”.

Near East University is the best university in the TRNC in 6 categories!
Near East University took place in 6 categories in the field rankings of the “2023 World University Rankings” published by Times Higher Education. Near East University, which is the best university in the TRNC in all of these categories, became the only university from the TRNC to be listed in the fields of “Computer Sciences”, “Education”, “Clinical and Health”, “Life Sciences” and “Social Sciences”.

Near East University, which ranked first among the Turkish and TRNC universities by taking place in the 151-175 band in the world in “Computer Sciences”, was accompanied by 10 universities from Turkey in this field. However, Near East University was the only university from the TRNC to be included in the ranking.

Near East University, which is in the 176-200 band in the field of “Engineering”, ranked first among the TRNC universities in this field, while it was enlisted as the 2nd university among 42 universities from Turkey that entered the list in this category.

Near East University was also in the 401-500 band in the world in the field of “Education”, in the 501-600 band in the field of “Clinical and Health”, and in the 601-800 band in the world in the fields of “Life Sciences” and “Social Sciences”.
