The photography exhibition, hosted by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, will be opened in honor of the 30th anniversary of the independence of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
“Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan Photography Exhibition on the 30th Anniversary of Independence”, prepared in cooperation with Near East University and TURKSOY in honor of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Turkic Republics, will be opened by President Ersin Tatar on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Exhibition Hall at 9.30 am. The exhibition will be open to the public until November 15.
The exhibition, hosted by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, brings together the frames captured by the lenses of the most distinguished photographers of the Turkic world, dedicated to the thirtieth anniversary of the independence of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. The photographs reflect the nature, history, architectural texture, human portraits and culture and art of the Turkic Republics.
TURKSOY started the independence celebrations of the five founding countries in Izmir and organized events in the provinces of Istanbul, Aydın, Isparta, Denizli, Ankara, Bilecik, Hatay, Niğde and Karaman. After the events held in Romania’s Craiova and Constanta cities and Hungary’s Budapest, the celebrations is continuing in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
