The Near East University will host the International Congress on Biomedical Engineering

The Near East University is getting ready to host an international congress once again within the scope of its 25th anniversary events.

According to the press statement released by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of NEU (Near East University Nicosia, Cyprus), the Biomedical Engineering Department of NEU Faculty of Engineering will host the International Biomedical Engineering Congress (http://con.neu.edu.tr/ibmec/) which will be held on 19-23 November in TRNC within the scope of the 25th anniversary events.

The International Biomedical Engineering Congress 2014 (IBMEC-2014), will be realized by METU, TOBB Economics and Technology University, Erciyes University, Dokuz Eylul University, Ege University, Gazi Osman Paşa University in cooperation with European Biotechnology Thematic Network Association (EBTNA). The congress will be held in Acapulco Hotel in Kyrenia through the organization of Near East Tourism Services.

Very challenging issues such as artificial organ and biomedical signal processing will be discussed…

According to the press statement, very reputable scientists from foreign countries would take place in the scientific committee of the congress. The IBMEC 2014 intends to provide platform for academics, researchers and scientists to discuss the most challenging biomedical engineering issues including biomedical imaging, biomaterials, biomedical instrumentation, artificial organs, and biomedical signal processing.
