The group exhibition, which will bring together 52 artifacts exclusively prepared by the artists of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, will be opened on Thursday, December 15, at 16.00 at the İrfan Günsel Congress Center Exhibition Hall.
In the exhibition, which is the 431st exhibition of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, “Great Silk Road”, “Huma Bird”, “Hive”, “Hunting” works will also be included in addition to the miniature artworks that define the history, culture and national motifs of Uzbekistan. The exhibition can be visited free of charge until Friday, December 30.

One of the remarkable works of the exhibition, which will bring together the works of Republic Artists of Uzbekistan Khasan Isakdjanov, Djaloliddin Ashrapov, Alovuddin Ashrapov, Makhmudjan Yakubdjanov, Dilshad Dadamatov, Doniyor Isakdjanov, Utkir Rakhimov, Javokhir Ubaydullaev, Mamurjon Najmutdinov, Mirazım Ashirov, Sardor Sıddıkov, Miryakhyo Makhmudkhojizoda, Makhmud Mutalov, Oybek Isakdjanov, Mirazim Ashirov, Khasan Aminov, belongs to artist Dilshod Dadamatov and depicts the caravan route connecting East Asia to the Mediterranean in ancient times and the Middle Ages.
Artist Miryakho Makhmudkhojizoda depicts the city of Khiva as the capital of the Khiva Khanate, which is on the Great Silk Road and is considered the pearl of Uzbekistan.
Artist Alovuddin Ashrapov, on the other hand, in his work called “Huma Bird”, depicts the Huma Bird, which is considered a symbol of happiness and freedom in Uzbek mythology.
