Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün: “We invite all our people to our Fine Arts September Exhibition, which we will open on Friday, September 16 at 17.00.”
While defining art as “reproduction of reality through images”, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün also emphasized the boundless nature of reality produced through art. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ergün said, “We are very delighted to organize our exhibition, which consists of works of art that build bridges between cultures and integrate humanity through the universal art values, in honor of the delegation of Tatarstan’s important university, library and museum officials who visited our university.”
Assoc. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün saying “The purpose of both art and science is to serve and explore life” and added; “Art education is about educating individuals and communities culturally and artistically. This is what we might call cultural shaping. A realistic university and academic education that gives importance to art and these feelings is based on the cooperation of science and art. That’s why I am very proud to be under the same roof with our Faculty of Fine Arts and Design faculty members who produce, design and think about artistic knowledge, follow international art developments, are aware of and question the period in which they live. This productivity could have been really difficult without the support of positive thinking. I would also like to thank my teacher Dr. Suat İrfan Günsel, our Founding Rector.
