Exclusively prepared for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts by the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Faculty Members, the group exhibition titled “May” will be opened by the Minister of Interior Ziya Öztürkler on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 18.00 at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Exhibition Hall.
The exhibition, which will be open to visitors free of charge until July 1, will feature 50 works of 14 award-winning academic artists, including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, stained glass and prints.

The Fine Arts May Exhibition will be curated by Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Deputy Dean and GÜNSEL Art Museum Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün said, “Our group exhibition, which we have prepared as academicians who continue their artistic productions within the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, offers a rich variety of styles.” Emphasizing that it is a great prestige for a living artist to have his work in the art museums, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün said, “Having this vision, we, the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts members, are proud to open the ‘Fine Arts May Exhibition’ on behalf of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts.” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ergün also said, “We invite all art lovers to our exhibition, which brings together 50 works and will be open to visitors until 1 July.”
