The “Fine Arts March Exhibition” to be held in memory of the Champion Angels will be opened at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Exhibition Hall on Thursday, April 27, with the participation of President Ersin Tatar.

In the exhibition to be opened, a painting by Mehmet Narin, dedicated to the Champion Angels and made in order to be exhibited at the Walled City Museum, will also meet art lovers for the first time.
“Fine Arts March Exhibition”, which brings together 50 works made by 22 academician artists of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Near East University, will be held at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Exhibition Hall on Thursday, April 27 at 16.00 with the participation of President Ersin Tatar. The group exhibition that the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts brings together with art lovers every month has another very special meaning this month. The Fine Arts March Exhibition will be held in memory of our Champion Angels. In the exhibition, a painting by Mehmet Narin, dedicated to the Champion Angels and made in order to be exhibited at the Walled City Museum, will also meet art lovers for the first time.

Champion Angels Will Not Be Forgotten!
Famagusta Turkish Maarif College students, their families and teachers, who perished in the earthquake in Adıyaman, where they went to participate in the volleyball tournament where they would represent the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, will not be forgotten. Near East Enterprises announced that they will keep the memory of 6 parents, 5 teachers and 24 young athletes aged 12-14, who lost their lives in Adıyaman Isias Hotel, with the 3-meter bronze Champion Angels Monument, which will be exhibited at the Walled City Museum. While the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts artists continue to work on the completion of the Champion Angels Monument, Mehmet Narin’s painting dedicated to the Champion Angels to be exhibited at the Walled City Museum will meet with art lovers for the first time at the Fine Arts March Exhibition.

The exhibition, which is also the 441th exhibition of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, will be open to visitors free of charge until 12 May. The exhibition, which will bring together 50 works of art, sculpture, stained glass, ceramics and print paintings of award-winning academic artists, is curated by the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Deputy Dean and GÜNSEL Art Museum Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün.

Describing the Fine Arts March Exhibition, which will be opened at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Exhibition Hall on Thursday, April 27 at 16.00, as the “most special exhibition” they will open, Assoc. Prof. Erdoğan Ergün said, “We carry the pain of our Champion Angels, who we lost in Adıyaman Isias Hotel, in our hearts. We will always carry this pain and the memory of our Champion Angels within us, and we will continue to keep them alive with the naivety of art.”
