The group exhibition titled “450th Anniversary of the Conquest of Nicosia Group Exhibition”, which consists of the works of 39 artists from the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and the Turkic World, held within the scope of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts project, will be opened on Wednesday, September 9.

According to the information given by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of Near East University, hosted by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, the exhibition titled “450th Anniversary of the Conquest of Nicosia Group Exhibition” consisting of the works of 39 artists from the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design and the Turkic World, will be opened at the Exhibition Hall of the Near East University Hospital on Wednesday 9 September at 09.30.

The exhibition titled “450th Anniversary of the Conquest of Nicosia Group Exhibition” is curated by Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Prof. Dr. Erdal Aygenç and consists of paintings, sculptures, ceramics and print paintings of 39 artists from Near East University and the Turkic World. The exhibition will be opened on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at 09:30.

Prof. Dr. Erdal Aygenç, the curator of the 357th exhibition that will be held exclusively for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, made a statement regarding the “450th Anniversary of the Conquest of Nicosia Group Exhibition”: “Our faculty, which contributed to the establishment of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts with all its academic staff, has planned to hold a group exhibition every month until the end of the year. On an important day in the history of Cyprus; On the 450th anniversary of the conquest of Nicosia, artists and academicians from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of the Near East University will present their works made in different techniques and styles to art lovers on September 9.
