Mrs. NARİN FERDİ ŞEFİK, a retired jurist who served as the President of the Supreme Court of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus between 2015 and 2024, attended the career days event on “BEING A LAWYER IN TRNC”. In the event, which was attended by the students, Mrs. Şefik gave important information about the field of law and shared her experiences.

Narin Ferdi Şefik is an experienced lawyer who has an important place in the judiciary in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). After completing her legal education in the United Kingdom, she worked as a lawyer and judge for many years, and in 2015,she was appointed as the President of the TRNC Supreme Court and became the head of one of the highest judicial authorities in the country. Şefik has made significant contributions to the justice system with her knowledge and experience in the field of law and has been recognized for her sensitivity to the rule of law, independence of the judiciary and human rights. Her leadership and determination have earned her a respected place in the eyes of her colleagues and the society.
