The renewal studies of the technological equipment of TEAL, the research and training ship of University of Kyrenia which is an important part of academic activities of the university, have been completed.

According to press info released by Press and Public Relations Directorate of University of Kyrenia, the first and only research and training ship of TRNC which is 8,50 meters in width and 46,6 meters in length, has been equipped with the advanced devices that are needed to conduct research studies at our present day.

In the press release, it is stated that the Echosounder (graff), 2 VHF-DSC, 2 radars, otopilot, MF-R/T, GPS Plotter, satellite navigator, ECDIS, digital echosounder, folio map, engine telegraph controller, fire alarm systems are updated in accordance with the latest developments and requirements, and all other technological systems that students and researchers need in their studies have also been updated. In the press release it is also emphasized that the updating of the equipment of TEAL will continue progressively and other necessary devices will also be equipped in accordance with the needs.
