University of Kyrenia Rector Prof. Dr. İlkay Salihoğlu, together with the accompanying delegation, paid a visit to Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu and discussed the issues on the agenda. During the meeting, current issues and cooperation opportunities in the field of education and training were discussed.

Rector Salihoğlu gave information about the vision and goals of University of Kyrenia and expressed their readiness to work together with the Ministry of National Education, especially on innovative approaches and projects in higher education. Minister Çavuşoğlu appreciated the initiatives of the university and emphasized the importance of joint projects to improve the quality of education in Northern Cyprus. Following the meeting, the parties agreed on future cooperation steps.
