The Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts is preparing to celebrate the 39th anniversary of the foundation of the TRNC with an evening full of art. The “Republic Exhibition”, which brings together the painting, sculpture, stained glass, ceramic and print paintings of the academic artists of the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, will be held on Thursday, November 17 at 16.00 at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Exhibition Hall.

The “Republic Exhibition”, which is the 429th exhibition of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts and will host 50 artworks, can be visited until 25 November.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün: “All our people are invited to our Republic Exhibition, which will be opened on Thursday, November 17th at 16.00 and will be visited until November 25th.”

Emphasizing that the works in the exhibition were exclusively produced, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün said, “We are very proud to celebrate the 39th anniversary of the founding of our Republic with art.”

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün said, “The great breakthroughs made by our university in the field of fine arts constitute important building blocks in the cultural development of our society and country. Based on our Founding President, Dr. Suat İrfan Günsel’s phrase ‘Art is the definition of humanity’, I think that all the works and breakthroughs realized in this process will be better understood and comprehended by future generations.” Assoc.
