University of Kyrenia, one of the fastest growing universities in TRNC with the success it has achieved since its establishment, has made many appointments to the administrative staff with the new academic year. The names appointed by the University of Kyrenia Board of Directors took over their new duties as of August 2, 2023.

University of Kyrenia, which continues its higher education activities with 14 faculties, 2 colleges, 7 vocational schools and 63 undergraduate, associate degree, graduate and doctorate programs approved by YÖK / YÖDAK, draws attention especially with the only Faculty of Maritime Studies and Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences in the TRNC. University of Kyrenia, which also has a fully equipped medical faculty hospital and dental hospital, offers an international university environment to students from many countries of the world with its campus on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea

Deans were appointed to many faculties at University of Kyrenia
With the decision taken by the University of Kyrenia Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Fatih Hüseyinoğlu was appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Maritime Studies, while Prof. Dr. Akbar Abbasi became the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eser Gemikonaklı was appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gizem Kodak was appointed Acting Dean of the Faculty of Maritime Business and Management, while Prof. Dr. Mehmet Fatih Hüseyinoğlu was appointed Acting Dean of the Faculty of Marine Sciences.

On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Şölen Günal and Assist. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ferdiye Küçük were appointed as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, while Assist. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gönül Taşçıoğlu was appointed as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Principals were directors to Tourism and Hotel Management and Aviation Vocational Schools
At University of Kyrenia, which has 2 colleges and 7 vocational schools, directors were appointed to the Vocational School of Tourism and Hotel Management and the Vocational School of Aviation. Prof. Dr. Serdar Oktay was appointed as the Director of the Vocational School of Tourism and Hotel Management, while Assist. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cengiz Mesut Bükeç was appointed as the Director of the Vocational School of Aviation.
