First and third place awards in Northern Cyprus’s first ‘Cross-Examination Competition’went to students from Girne University’s Faculty of Law.
Girne University hosted the ‘1st Northern Cyprus Cross-Examination Competition,’ organised by the LLB International Law Programme and held for the first time in Northern Cyprus.

The participants skilfully used cross-examination techniques and impressively demonstrated their competence in the field of law before the jury.The jury consisted of Narin Ferdi Şefik, retired president of the Supreme Court,Prof. Dr. Feridun Yenisey from Bahçeşehir University,Assistant Professor Nurcan Gündüz from Eastern Mediterranean University, Assistant Professor Aydın Atılgan from Girne University, and Bar Association members Attorney Meral Birinci Sonan and Attorney Nurettin Karagözlü.First and third place awards went to Girne University…The students who achieved high scores in the competition were presented with their awards.
