Lateral transfers to departments of Near East University for academic year 2014-2015 started. Students conducting their studies at another higher education institution can apply for lateral transfer to any one of the 135 relevant departments at the Near East University. The applications must be sent to Registrar’s Office of Near East University.

According to press info released by Press and Public Relations Directorate of Near East University, Nicosia, all departments of 16 faculties and 5 vocational schools of Near East University will accept lateral transfer applications.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Yeter Tabur, General Secretary of Near East University, made a statement regarding the lateral transfers and said that students who continue their higher education studies at any one of the 135 departments of the Near East University via lateral transfer will also benefit from extensive scholarship opportunities. Tabur also stated that, besides the scholarship opportunities provided by the Near East University, the rights of lateral transfer students gained at the former institution will continue under exactly the same conditions, and Tabur invited students to obtain information about academic and social life at the Near East University.
