Hakkı Toros, the Head of İzmir branch of Chamber of Marine Engineers (GEMIMO) will give a seminar themed on “Marine Engineers and the importance of Maritime at present time” at the University of Kyrenia.
According to the press info released by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of the University of Kyrenia, the Head of the Board of Directors of İzmir Branch of GEMIMO, Hakkı Toros, one of the outstanding names of the maritime industry of Turkey, will give a seminar at the University of Kyrenia at 10:00 – 12:00 on May 8, 2014. The venue of the seminar is the temporary campus of the University of Kyrenia located in the Near East University.
The Chamber of Marine Engineers (GEMIMO) which is one of the well-established organizations of Turkey is a professional organization established on 29.07.1960 by the Law 6235 as a body affiliated with the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (UCTEA).
At present the Chamber of Marine Engineers (GEMIMO) has more than 1500 members who have received training and education on marine engineering and granted with a diploma to practice their professions legally within our country.
GEMİMO is committed to making every effort to ensure goals and applications regarding the development of maritime sector on scientific and technical basis. The Chamber of Marine Engineers aims to foster the integration of maritime sector with industry sectors of our country through appropriate planning and projects.
