“Günsel Art Museum” of “GÜNSEL”, the domestic and national car of our country, was established. The “Günsel Art Museum”, where approximately 700 works of the Cypriot and Awarded Artists of the Turkic World will take place, will open on the same day with the launch of “GÜNSEL”, which will be introduced at Elexus Hotel on February 20.
Giving importance to the integrity of the society, Günsel Family will mediate sharing the cultural identity of Cyprus with the national and international art environment via the museum established. Approximately 700 works of award-winning artists from Cyprus and the Turkic World will be exhibited at the museum. The museum will include oil and acrylic paintings, original prints, engravings, linoleum, silkscreen, lithography, wood prints, as well as sculpture and ceramic works.

Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Head of Graphic Department and Director of Günsel Art Museum, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün Günsel said in his statement regarding the Art Museum that “GÜNSEL”, the first national and domestic car of the TRNC, allowed the birth of the Art Museum with its contributions to culture and art.
Stating that museums are one of the focus of effective social education institutions, national and international sharing, and also foundations giving societies a historical advantage with moral and historical values, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ergün stated that “Günsel Art Museum” will mediate the sharing of the cultural identity of Cyprus with the national and international art environment in the city center of Nicosia.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ergün said, “Our goal is to raise a future generation who loves art. We offer our visitors a large collection of modern works and exhibitions held at the periodical exhibition halls as a whole, a comprehensive museum where they can witness the production process and the product. In our museum, where the periodicals and works of award-winning artists will be exhibited, approximately 700 works will be exhibited.”
