The exhibitions that President Ersin Tatar will open include three individual painting exhibitions by Kyrgyz artists Kubanychbek İbragimov, Asein Dzhumabekov and Kadyr Bekov, and artist İsmail Gündoğan’s personal sculpture exhibition with the theme “Bird”.

Four important solo exhibitions consisting of works exclusively prepared for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will be opened by President Ersin Tatar at the exhibition hall of the Near East University Hospital on Friday, April 15.

Three of the exhibitions that will be presented to art lovers at the Exhibition Hall of the Near East University Hospital at 17.00 consist of solo painting exhibitions of Kyrgyz artists Kubanychbek Ibragimov, Asein Dzhumabekov and Kadyr Bekov.

Kubanychbek İbragimov’s solo painting exhibition titled “House Among Cacti” consists of 40 works, Asein Dzhumabekov’s solo painting exhibition titled “The Magic of Colors” consists of 50 works, and Kadyr Bekov’s solo painting exhibition titled “Melody of Colors” consists of 60 works. The solo painting exhibitions of three artists will bring together 150 works in total with art lovers. Another exhibition to be opened is the sculpture exhibition titled “Bird”, which brings together 15 bird sculptures shaped by the artist İsmail Gündoğan from metal with a magnificent handwork. The four exhibitions, which will bring together a total of 165 unique works, will be open to visitors throughout April.

Kubanychbek Ibragimov, Asein Dzhumabekov and Kadyr Bekov, all three of whom are members of the Artists Union of the Kyrgyz Republic, have taken part in many national and international exhibitions. The works of 47-year-old İbragimov took part in the Imago mundi Luciano Benetton Collection held in Italy in 2015; In 2016, they took part in the group exhibition held in China.

The works of 62-year-old Asein Dzhumabekov, on the other hand, met the world in solo and group exhibitions held in many countries, including Russia, Germany, Iran, the USA and South Korea.

The works of 66 years old Kadyr Bekov are in private collections in France, Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, Brazil, South, Korea and China, as well as the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts.

30-year-old young artist İsmail Gündoğan, who has participated with his works in many exhibitions held in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, has been continuing his art studies in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus since 2019. Gündoğan, whose ship models he crafted by masterfully crafting metal, took place in the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts exhibitions, is getting ready to meet art lovers this time with bird figures he created by shaping metal.

The number of exhibitions opened by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will reach 406, together with the “House Among Cacti”, “Magic of Colors”, “Melody of Colors” and “Bird” exhibitions, which will bring together 165 artworks.
