According to press info released by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of University of Kyrenia, Enver Yetkili, lecturer of University of Kyrenia and the writer of book titled Yesterday, Today and Strategic Importance of Cyprus Ports, gave a seminar on historical process and strategical importance of Famagusta Port.
Enver Yetkili presented the development and strategical importance of Famagusta Port in throughout historical process by referring to parts of his book on Cyprus ports and providing visual and written materials on the issue. The seminar took place in Rauf R. Denktash Culture and Congress Palace in Famagusta. Those interested in the subject showed great interest to the seminar.
Enver Yetkili who is teaching for the University of Kyrenia at the moment, graduated from High School Marine Sciences in 1969 and returned to Cyprus following his graduation. He worked as a navigator, then as a chief navigator and Director of Port, and finally appointed to Directorate of Office of Ports.
