As the second of the 6 schools that the Near East Enterprises will build in 6 districts of the TRNC and deliver to the Department of Primary Education of the Ministry of National Education and Culture, Dr. Suat Günsel Iskele State Primary School is ready for education. With a capacity of 500 students, full-fledged Dr. Suat Günsel State Iskele Primary School will be handed over to the Primary Education Department of the Ministry of National Education and Culture' with a magnificent ceremony to be held on November 19, as part of the Republic Day celebrations, with the participation of President Ersin Tatar, Prime Minister Faiz Sucuoğlu and Minister of National Education and Culture Olgun Amcaoğlu.
The state primary school, the foundation of which was laid on 23 April 2021 during the National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebrations in Iskele, was completed in 7 months and made ready for education. Before this, the Dr. Suat Günsel Nicosia State Primary School handed over to the Ministry of National Education and Culture in August and met with its students in the new education term. The groundbreaking ceremony taking place in June, Dr. Suat Günsel Famagusta State Primary School is expected to be completed and delivered in the following period. Then, other Dr. Suat Günsel state primary schools will be built in Girne, Güzelyurt and Lefke. Together with the establishment of Suat Günsel State Primary Schools in Kyrenia, Lefke and Güzelyurt, the "6 state primary schools in 6 districts" project of the Near East Enterprises will continue.
