Ingrid D. Larson, Director of Press and Public Relations Department of the USA Embassy visited University of Kyrenia. Larson obtained information about the academic life, campus life, projects continuing at the moment and donated books to the university library.

According to a press statement released by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of the University of Kyrenia, Ingrid D. Larson, Director of Press and Public Relations Department of the USA Embassy was welcomed by Assist. Prof. Dr. Hürmüs Refiker, General Secretary of University of Kyrenia, and Mr. Tümer Garip, Assistant to Founding Rector of Near East University.

Larson visited campus and donated books…

Ingrid D. Larson, accompanied by General Secretary Hürmüs Refiker, had a sightseeing through the campus and obtained information about the developments of University of Kyrenia, the ongoing projects, simulation rooms, university library, Hospital of University of Kyrenia and Faculty of Medicine Complex which are under construction at the moment. Paying special attention to library of the university, Larson donated some books to the library. General Secretary Refiker presented a memorial plaque to Larson in memory of the day.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Hürmüs Refiker, speaking on the event of visit by Ingrid D. Larson, Director of Press and Public Relations Department of the USA Embassy, said that they were much delighted to host Mrs. Larson on the university campus and expressed her gratitude for the donation of books to the university library. Refiker also said that Ingrid D. Larson, Director of Press and Public Relations Department of the USA Embassy, was much impressed from the developments of the university and appreciated the ongoing projects.
