Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will bring together 92 works of art on the Near East University campus with two exhibitions to be opened on Tuesdays and Fridays this week

After the “Fine Arts February Exhibition” consisting of 47 works, which will be opened at the Near East University Faculty of Dentistry Exhibition Hall on Tuesday, May 31, the “Fine Arts March Exhibition” consisting of 45 works will be opened on Friday, June 3 at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Exhibition Hall.

The Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts is preparing to give art lovers an art feast this week. 92 works of art prepared by the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of the Near East University will be opened to visitors at the Near East University campus, with two exhibitions within a week.

The first of the exhibitions is the “Fine Arts February Exhibition”, which will be opened on Tuesday, May 31, at 17.00 at the Near East University Faculty of Dentistry Exhibition Hall. The exhibition, consisting of 47 works, will bring together the paintings, sculptures, ceramics and prints of 14 academician-artists and will be open to visitors until June 15.

The “Fine Arts March Exhibition”, which will bring together 45 works, will be opened on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 17.00 at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Exhibition Hall. Along with the exhibitions to be opened, the number of exhibitions opened by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will have reached 409. The Fine Arts March exhibition can be visited free of charge until 17 June.

Both exhibitions were curated by Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Deputy Dean and GÜNSEL Art Museum Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün.

Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün said, “We are proud to open exhibitions featuring our works on behalf of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts.”

Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün said, “Our two group exhibitions, consisting of works we have prepared exclusively for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, will be open to visitors until mid-June at the Near East University Faculty of Dentistry Exhibition Hall and Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Exhibition Hall. We invite art lovers to our exhibitions.”
