Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, the largest contemporary art museum not only in Cyprus but also in the region with over 50 thousand works of art, has a rich painting and sculpture collection consisting of works of artists of 14 Turkic communities. Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, which hosts the works of more than two thousand artists, welcomes art lovers with a new surprise every time they visit with its constantly enriched collections and renewed galleries.
The galleries that the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts has expanded so that art lovers can visit its collections more pleasantly. With new sculptures and paintings added to the collection, an enriched sword collection, and a 250-piece handmade glass work collection, it offers art lovers a unique view of art.
Collections keep growing!
Right at the entrance of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts an archer statue greets the visitors and Damir Zakirov’s “Lady” statue greets the visitors at the doorsill of the museum. Kyrgyz sculptor Tolkunbek Esenaliyev’s “Musician” sculptures, inspired by musicians playing the cello and violin, evoke the feeling of giving a classical music concert while laying your eyes on the unique works in the Museum. Kadim Zamitov’s “Sümbike” and “Archer” sculptures and sculptures by Tagir Subkhankulov and Minziya Preev are among the new residents of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts.
The sword and knife galleries on the lower floor of the museum continue to enrich with new works. Weapons such as swords, shields, armor and bows used in many periods of history, especially in the Ottoman Period, literally pulls its visitors into a time travel.

The Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts offers a wide range of works to its visitors with its collections of paintings and sculptures of different styles, model ships, wood carvings, glassware, knives and swords. One of the most special collections of the museum is the “Glass Artifact Collection”, which consists of approximately 250 handmade pieces. The collection, which transforms many different objects from glassware into works of art with a masterful touch, brings the elegance of glass together with its visitors.
