University of Kyrenia gets prepared to put its mark on TRNC and especially on Kyrenia through organizing cultural, social and artistic events along with the academic studies.

According to press info released by Press and Public Relations of Directorate of University of Kyrenia, the university, comprising an international student profile, is getting prepared to increase the number of cultural, social and artistic events in the new term, within the scope of it planned events.

In press release, it is stated that the University Kyrenia, which hosted painting exhibition of TURKSOY, the International Organization of Turkic Culture, in previous months, signed an academic and cultural cooperation protocol with Azerbaijan State Marine Academy, too.

In the press release, within which was also emphasized that the University of Kyrenia supported the the scientific studies of EU in Eastern Mediterranean region and the development of Kyrenia Harbour has been put into a form of a scientific study first time in TRNC by University of Kyrenia, it is stated that the cultural events that will be organized throughout the new academic year by the University of Kyrenia will contribute much not only to the academic and scientific developments, but also to the cultural events.

It is also stated that the University of Kyrenia, of which the first phase of Kyrenia campus will cost 80 USD and projected to be finished within a short period, has been established as the first and only aviation and maritime university with a mission of becoming the leader in the Eastern Mediterranean region with its research and training ship and aviation fleet comprising 6 aircrafts.
