The opening and award ceremony of the “I. International Multiple Photography Contest FOTOMAN 2022” exhibition, organized by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts and bringing together 56 award-winning photographs from 33 countries, will be held on Tuesday, November 22, at 17.00 at the Near East University Faculty of Health Sciences Exhibition Hall.
The exhibition, which will be hosted by Near East University Founding Rector Dr. Suat Irfan Günsel, will also be attended by Kakha Pkhakadze, the President of the Georgian Photographers Union, and Nino Mgenashvili, the Hall President. At the opening of the exhibition, awards will be presented to Turkish Cypriot photographers who succeeded in the competition.
56 award-winning photographs by photographers from 33 different countries will be exhibited in three different categories.
In the competition organized in three different categories, the works of the artists who won awards will be brought together with photography lovers by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts. The exhibition, which will feature 56 award-winning photographs by photographers from 33 different countries under the auspices of the Near East University, will be the 430th exhibition of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts. “I. International Multiple Photography Contest FOTOMAN 2022” can be visited free of charge until 19 December 2022.
Many international federations that shape the world’s photography also have the approval of the “I. International Multiple Photography Contest FOTOMAN 2022”. The first of these is FIAP (International Federation of Photographic Art), which is also recognized by UNESCO and has members in 103 countries. In addition, international federations such as PSA, GPU, IAAP have patronage (approval) in the competition.
