Artist Pairav Gulov presented three canvas paintings he created for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts during the COVID-19 quarantine days to the taste of art lovers.

According to the press info released by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, artist Pairav Gulov created three distinguished artworks for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts during the lockdown days imposed for controlling the COVID-19 pandemic and presented these paintings that he titled as “Horse Race”, “American Football” and “The War of Heroes” to the taste of art-lovers.

Considering the rapid spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) worldwide, The Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts released that artists will continue to reassure and provide support to the fight against the pandemic with their arts.

Who is Pairav Gulov?
He was born in Tajikistan in 1983. In 2006, he graduated from the Painting Department of the Tajikistan State Fine Arts and Design Institute. He works as an artist in the Art Fund workshop of the Republic of Tajikistan and teaches at the State Institute of Fine Arts and Design. He is a member of Tajikistan Artists Union. In 2016, the silver medal of the International Peace Artists Union was given to the artist by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

He opened two solo art exhibitions. He also participated in many group exhibitions held in Tajikistan, Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. His works has a distinguished place in private collections in Germany, Turkey, the USA, France, Russia, China, India and other countries.
