Due to the spread of the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) worldwide, one artist from various art branches continues to reflect the epidemic and struggle in his or her works of art.

According to the press information provided by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of Near East University, Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts Ceramics Department lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Özçelik emphasized that extraordinary days are experienced and that art and artist will continue to depict them and raise awareness on the extraordinary events.

Ceramic artist Hüseyin Özçelik said: “Unusual days…”
The days we live with a childish mood, that we feel like it will be eternal life and we live like that, are left behind one by one…

Nothing will be the same…

Our blue-protected world clinging to a sphere in the middle of an endless darkness…

Everything is tidy, balanced and in order …

And we have broken this order, we have broken it…

The blue belt is disappearing …

We will not be protected…

If it goes like this, many things will happen to us.

Happened already!..

Art and artist will always keep telling these and raising awareness…

We will not fall apart from our way… ”
