A protocol has been signed between University of Kyrenia and Malatya Turgut Özal University, which foresees cooperation in education and research activities and aims to develop and support joint studies. On behalf of the University of Kyrenia, Rector Prof. Dr. İlkay Salihoğlu and on behalf of Malatya Turgut Özal University, Rector Prof. Dr. Aysun Bay Karabulut signed the protocol.

According to the statement made by the University of Kyrenia Press and Public Relations Directorate, the protocol signed with Malatya Turgut Özal University covers joint research studies, training and exchange of students who have started their specialization training in medicine, joint academic and scientific publication activities, as well as student and educational personnel exchange.

In the statement stated that, University of Kyrenia Rector Prof. Dr. İlkay Salihoğlu underlined the importance of the protocol they signed with Malatya Turgut Özal University for both universities and that they will continue such cooperation activities.
