A Seminar titled as “steps to the path to career and success” was held on University of Kyrenia..

-University of Kyrenia has hosted Adnan Bali, Member if Board of Directors of Türkiye İş Bankası (Turkish Bank) and General Director for his seminar on “steps to the path to career and success”.

Member if Board of Directors of Türkiye İş Bankası and General Director, Adnan Bali was greeted on University of Kyrenia by Founding Rector of Near East University, Dr. Suat Günsel; Founding Rector of University of Kyrenia, Cemre S. Günsel Haskasap; Rector of University of Kyrenia, Prof. Dr. İlkay Salihoğlu; General Director of University of Kyrenia Hürmüs Refiker and Head of University of Kyrenia Foundation, Mutlu Soykurt.

According to the Press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of University of Kyrenia, a seminar titled as “steps to the path to career and success”was held on University of Kyrenia campus and that Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus public, governmental institutions personnel, non-governmental organisations personnel, alongside the academic members and students of University of Kyrenia had shown a great deal of interest to the seminar with a high number of attendance. It was stressed that Adnan Bali shared his experiences, difficulties he encountered and how he turned these into a success story over 30 years in his career.

Adnan Bali: “Real success is to manage to be happy before anything else!… Don’t be settled by being the ordinary….. Use your capacity and go over it……. Bear in mind that disciplined hard work is more important than mere intelligence…. Remember! It is now easier to access information, so do make use of this!”

Subsequent to the seminar, Founding Rector of University of Kyrenia, Cemre S. Günsel Haskasap presented Adnan Bali, Member if Board of Directors of Türkiye İş Bankası and General Director, a plaque in memory of the day and expressed gratitude for sharing his experiences and success story.

Who is Adnan Bali?

He was born in Islahiye in 1962 and is a graduate of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Middle East Technical University.

He began his career in 1986 as Vice Director of Committee of Inspection of Türkiye İş Bankası. In 1994, he became Head of Fund Management, in 1997 he became Head of Group, in 1998 he was appointed as Director of Fund Management. Moreover, in 2002 he became Vice Director of Şişli Branch, in 2004 Director of Galata Branch, and on 30th May, 2006, he became Vice Director of the Bank.

Finally, on 1st April, 2011, he was appointed as the 16th General Director of Türkiye İş Bankası Main Branch and is currently acting as the Director of Committee of Credit and Committee of Risk.
