The results of the second additional quota placement for the 2022-2023 academic year have been announced. According to the 2022 additional quota placement results, 3,201 students were placed in the TRNC universities. While the Near East University was the university with the highest number of students with 996 students, 295 students placed in the University of Kyrenia. Thus, the number of students placed in the universities of the Near East Enterprises reached 1,291.
40% of the students who placed in the TRNC are at the Near East University and University of Kyrenia!
According to the results of the second additional quota placement in the 2022-2023 academic year, 40 percent of the 3,201 students placed in the TRNC universities preferred Near East University and University of Kyrenia, and according to the results of the first placement, Near East University was by far the most preferred university in the TRNC. According to the results of the first placement, 2,570 students out of 11,141 students placed in the TRNC universities were placed in the Near East University.
Registration will start on September 26th…
Students who are entitled to enroll in the Near East University and University of Kyrenia through the second additional quota must register between September 26 and September 30. Registrations can be carried out at the representative offices of NEU in Turkey and on the university campuses of Near East University and University of Kyrenia.

Prof. Dr. Tüzünkan, reminding students who have the right to enroll in Near East University that the registration should be carried out between 26-30 September, 2022, also said that they can complete the registration process at the representative offices in Turkey as well as on the university campus.
