2022 Vertical Transfer Exam (VTE) additional quota results have been announced. According to the additional quota and placement results of the VTE, through which students who graduated from vocational schools and distance education associate degree programs gained the right to be transferred to undergraduate education, 50 percent of the students who were placed in TRNC universities preferred the Near East University and University of Kyrenia.

Near East University is the most preferred university in the TRNC this year, too!
According to the results of the second additional quota placement in the 2022-2023 academic year, 40 percent of the 3,201 students placed in the TRNC universities were placed in Near East University and University of Kyrenia. As for the results of the first placement, 2,570 students out of 11,141 students who were placed in the TRNC university were placed in the Near East University. Thus, the Near East University maintained its title of being the most preferred university in the TRNC in terms of VTE additional placement results, as well as in the first placement results and additional quota placement results.

Reminding that Near East University has maintained its title as the most preferred university in the TRNC for the seventh time, Near East University Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Tüzünkan said “In addition to the qualified theoretical education we provide with our competent academic staff, we include all our students, especially our doctoral and graduate students, in the research, development and production processes we carry out on the basis of the vision of ‘4th Generation University’. It is one of our most important priorities for our students to transform the theoretical knowledge they have acquired into practice by touching, seeing, testing and gaining experience.”
