Near East Enterprises Museums continues to host students of schools providing education in the TRNC this year, as it did last year. 5th year students of 9 Eylül Primary School had a fun and stimulating trip by visiting the Near East Enterprises Museums.

As part of their two-day trip, 120 students from 9 Eylül Primary School visited the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, Cyprus Car Museum, Cyprus Herbarium and Natural History Museum, Walled City Museum, GÜNSEL Art Museum and the Grand Library. Students spent hours full of art while having fun during the trip.

Near East Enterprises Museums, which will continue to host students studying in the TRNC in the coming days, will continue to introduce young generations to the inspiring power of art.

Place where they spent the most time: Cyprus Car Museum
The Cyprus Car Museum, located on the Near East University campus, was one of the museums where children spent the most time. In addition to its rich automobile collection, the museum fascinated children with toys made from various machine parts, a model car collection, pedal cars, Batman and Transformers figures. The students also visited the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts throughout the cultural tour and closely examined the rich art collection consisting of the works of many artists. In addition, many collections, from ship models to glassware and sword collections, provided entertaining moments for primary school students.

Students visited all the museums with great curiosity and excitement; In the Herbarium and Natural History Museum, students had the opportunity to examine the natural history of Cyprus with 11 thousand different plant specimens, mushroom species, insect species, various reptile species, sea creatures, fossils and rocks under one roof. 9 Eylül Primary School students both learned and had fun while visiting the museums of Near East University with great interest. Students also visited the Near East University Grand Library, which is among the world’s leading libraries. Students also visited the GÜNSEL Art Museum in Nicosia Dereboyu, where the vehicles of GÜNSEL, our country’s domestic and national automobile, are exhibited, and they examined GÜNSEL’s first model, B9, and asked questions curiously about its technical features.
