The Coast Guard Team under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republic of Turkey met with the students of University of Kyrenia at the Career Days event. Students were provided with information by the Coast Guard Team about future career planning, recruitment by the Coast Guard Commandership, and how to plan their careers.

According to a press statement released by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of University of Kyrenia, a team of Coast Guard including Colonel Günay Uzun, Head of Planning, Management and Training Department under the Coast Guard Commandership of Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Tarkan Düzgünçınar, the Director of Staff Management Department, and Major Mehmet Yılmaz, Director of Staff Recruitment Department attented to the event and provided students with detailed information on organizational structure, weather elements, personnel resources and recruitment, staff employment centres, naval academy, how a newly graduated sailor will get in touch with the bodies of the naval sector and the functions of naval sector will be assessed were discussed in detail.
