Near East University Animal Hospital has initiated its Ambulance Service

The first and the only animal hospital of the island, Near East University Animal Hospital has now started to provide another significant service to the island. According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, Chief Physician of NEU Animal Hospital; Assist. Prof. Dr. Osman Ergene, has made a statement and expressed that the Animal Hospital had started to provide animal ambulance service.

The Animal Ambulance Service

It was pointed out that this was a significant service which was missing on the island and that it is now being provided by the first and the only animal hospital on the island, NEU Animal Hospital. Furthermore, it was added that the ambulance would not only be used for emergency services, and that it would also be utilized for getting the animals to the hospital for routine controls and treatments.

Chief Physician Assist. Prof. Dr. Osman Ergene further added that the ambulance would be used for the transport of wounded animals in the street and expressed his best wishes for starting such a service for the country.

Communication

Ergene added that the working hours of the Animal Hospital was Monday-Saturday from 9:30-18:00. Moreover, he stressed that the following numbers could be contacted for further enquiries or suggestions within the working hours of the hospital: 0392 675 10 00 with extension numbers-3145-3150.
