Students who have successfully completed their first year may, if they wish, receive a double major from another associate degree or undergraduate program specified by the University of Kyrenia Senate, other than the department they are registered for. Students who successfully complete all extra courses may graduate from the department from which they received a double major education by obtaining a second associate degree or undergraduate diploma.
Students whose average value of the accumulated grades is not sufficient to complete a double major will be entitled to receive a minor certificate of the relevant department by completing the extra courses of the other department they want to study.
Double Major Program:
Students enrolled in an undergraduate education program (first major) take all the courses of another department/program at their university, successfully complete both programs within the same time frame, and have a bachelor’s degree in a second branch.
In minor program students enrolled in an undergraduate education program (first major) complete some courses simultaneously and successfully in another department/program at their university and receive a certificate in a minor branch.
