A scholarship protocol signed between University of Kyrenia and Gagauzia Autonomous Republic in order to meet the pilot and mariner needs of Europe.

According to press info released by Press and Public Relations Directorate of University of Kyrenia, President Mikhail Makaravich, President of Gagauzia Autonomous Republic, the President of National Council of Gagauzia Autonomous Republic, Prof. Dr. Fahreddin Sadıkoğlu, Vice Rector of Near East University, and Tümer Garip, the assistant of Founding Rector, attended to protocol ceremony hosted by Dr. Suat İ. Günsel, the Founding Rector of Near East University.

Dr. Suat İ. Günsel, putting signature to protocol on behalf of University of Kyrenia, expressed his gratitude for such an event and extended his wish to conduct relations between the University of Kyrenia and Gagauzia Autonomous Republic for long years, as is the case with the Near East University and Gagauzia…

Gagauzia Turks Are Trained As Pilots And Mariners At University Of Kyrenia…

Dr. Günsel, stating at the beginning of his speech that they enjoyed relations with Gagauzia Autonomous Republic for seven years and the friendship between parties increased during time, said that they are now proud to train pilots and mariners to Gagauzia, a country which is far from sea.

Mikhail Makarovich Formuzal, the President of Gagauzia Autonomous Republic, delivered a speech and said that they are much pleased to sign such a protocol with the University of Kyrenia and he has full confidence in that the friendship and relations between the parties will increase and lead to conduct further mutual projects in future.

Formuzal also extended his gratefulness and appreciation to Near East University for educating over 100 students of Gagauzia Autonomous Republic within seven years and said that the relations and cooperation between parties will continue…
