Cooperation Protocol signed between Azerbaijan State Marine Academy (ADDA) and University of Kyrenia

Dr. Suat Günsel, visiting Azerbaijan State Marine Academy (ADDA) in Baku, Azerbaijan, as the special guest of Prof. Dr. Rasim Beşirov, Rector of ADDA, signed a comprehensive cooperation protocol on behalf of Mr. Cemre S. Günsel Haskasap, between the University of Kyrenia and the Azerbaijan State Marine Academy.

According to cooperation protocol signed between two higher education institutions on 21 April 2014, the parties will fully cooperate on marine transportation and management, marine engineering, marine electronics and communication technologies, marine navigation and marine law as well as exchanging students and academic staff, and organizing social and cultural events.

ADDA, the largest marine education institution of Caucasia, Middle East and Central Asia, holds ISO certificate and is the member of International Maritime Organization (IMO). ADDA offers undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programs at full extent. Dr. Suat İ. Günsel and his accompanying committee also visited the Marine Engineering Lab, Marine Electronics and Communication Systems Lab, and Simulation Centre of ADDA and scrutinized the systems.

Prof. Dr. Rasim Beşirov, Rector of ADDA, and Dr. Suat. İ. Günsel delivered a speech at the protocol ceremony which was held at the Senate of ADDA. Prof. Dr. Fahreddin Sadıkoğlu, Vice Rector of NEU, and Mr. Selahattin Topukçu, Representative of TRNC in Azerbaijan were present at the protocol ceremony, too.
