September 19, 2014 is the deadline for submitting a completed application regarding admission for 123 master’s and 64 doctoral degree programs offered by graduate schools within the body of the Near East University.

Graduate Schools of Social Sciences, Applied Sciences, Educational Sciences and Health Sciences, which are affiliated to the Near East University, have set September 19, 2014 as the deadline for submitting a completed application for 123 master’s and 64 doctoral degree programs. Registration for 187 master’s or doctoral degree programs all of which are approved by YÖDAK and YÖK (HEC) is continuing. Master’s and doctoral degree education programs open up a whole new world of opportunities for students, who want to achieve a good career by enriching their personal qualifications and upgrading their professional qualifications to establish a competitive edge over the others. The postgraduate programs carried out by the qualified academic staff of the graduate schools of NEU provide a wide range of opportunities for students to specialize and expertise on specific subjects through cutting-edge education.

Since, research and practical training go along with each other in master and doctoral degree programs, alongside the faculty labs, the advanced level research labs, and all possibilities of NEU hospitals including Training and Research Hospital, Dental Hospital and Animal Hospital, will be in the service of students in order to facilitate their research studies.

In his explanation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yeter Tabur, the Secretary General of NEU, noted that the Near East University provided goal-oriented and high quality education for the master’s and doctoral degree students. Pointing to the significant impact of blending theory and practice for carrying out education in an interactive manner, Tabur stated that they had provided the postgraduate students with opportunities, which allow each of them to conduct research and specialize in the field chosen personally. Pointing to the crucial impacts of scholarships in education, Tabur said: “In order to ensure more appropriate conditions for master and doctoral degree students, the Near East University offers special scholarship opportunities for students enrolled in postgraduate programs in the academic year 2014-2015. Assistants for respective faculties will be selected among candidates, who have a master degree and enroll in one of 64 doctoral degree programs offered in the academic year 2014-2015. In accordance with emerging needs, the graduates can continue to work as an academic staff at the Near East University after completing their doctorate education successfully”. Tabur also noted that students, who want to enroll in a master’s or doctoral degree program, are required to submit their applications latest on September 19, adding that students can obtain more comprehensive information from NEU Registrar’s Office.
